Sometimes you have to explore. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve been to a place there’s always an opportunity to discover something new. As a photographer I find this especially important. We living in a social media driven world. More so, we live in a world where technology is a driving force. It’s easy to allow yourself to become consumed within’ it. I’m guilty of this myself. Recently, I’ve been cutting time from my iPhone. That has included eliminating social media use almost completely. I wanted to allow myself to be completely free within’ my art. In that time I’ve become more aware to what’s happening in the world, read more books and novels and I’ve rediscovered my love for photography and filmmaking. These photos are from the beginning of what I call a cleanse, one that’ll continue to be never ending. I’m from Atlanta, but I’ve found myself discovering new things and new ways to capture them. Although I can’t tell anyone what to do, I do recommend putting your phone down. Read, explore, run, etc. Live free and be the best version of yourself.
